As a new student, please report to the College of International Education as soon as possible after your arrival at the campus. We will help to arrange your study and life on campus for the new semester.

Original copy of your last academic degree and transcript.

Health examination record (You will need to take another health examination after entering China, but you can waive the items you have done at home country)

School transfer certificate (applicable to those who are transferred from other universities in China)

Your birth certificate, guardian certificate and the xerox copy of your parents’ passports (applicable to students under 18 years old; the birth certificate and guardian certificate goes into effect only after being translated into Chinese authenticated by your local Chinese Embassy)


The tuition, accommodation fee and insurance fee shall be paid at the beginning of each academic year for self-supported students. The freshman’s application fee shall be paid upon application at the university.

How and Where to Pay

1. Choose an bank near our campus and open an account. 

2. Put money into your account.

3. Confirm the amount and swipe your bank card in Room 207.


Rules for Fee Refund

1. The application fee is not refundable. Tuition and Accommodation fees are not refundable if the change of the student’ status is not caused by the university, such as suspension of schooling or being expelled out of violation of our university’s disciplines.  

2. Students can suspend their studying after approval, but the fees paid won’t be refunded, which can be used after the student resumes his study.

About our dormitory

       There are three dormitory buildings in our campus(A/B/C) for international students. The first-year language learners are expected to live in the campus. The accommodation fees for room shared by two are 1500 RMB/month/person or 1200 RMB/month/person according to the size. We also provide single rooms if you are willing for a higher price.

       All rooms are fully furnished and equipped with air-conditioner, wired internet capabilities, beds (with beddings and pillow), dressers, desks, table and chairs. While most utilities (water, electricity) are already paid, you are responsible for paying the monthly internet access fee of approximately 20 RMB per month. You can also find laundry room, recreational room, study room and shop in your convenient reach. Room-cleaning service is offered every day free of charge.

The health and fitness center offers well-appointed facilities: open gym, fitness studio, badminton court, basketball court, table tennis court, swimming pool, and more. Some of the courts are free of charge, some are charged by hour.

The gate of the dormitory building will be closed at 12pm each day. Make sure you can get back to the dorm on time. 


Accommodation Registration

Within 24 hours of arriving in Beijing, all foreigners must be registered at the local police station near their residence (school dormitory、hotel or apartment).

How to get your Accommodation Registration Form

If you stay at school dormitory

If you are staying at school dormitory, our office should register your details with the PSB automatically when you arrive and you can get your Accommodation Registration Form in Room 207.

Required documents: your Passport,Student ID card.

If you stay at hotel

If you are staying at a hotel, the staff should register your details with the PSB automatically by computer when you arrive, but ask them to print it out for you.

Not all hotels in China are open to foreigners, though – some are for Chinese nationals only. 

Required document: your Passport.

If you stay at apartment

Required documents:

Your passport with valid visa.(Original and Copies)

Rental agreement/contract.(Original and Copies)

ID card of Your landlord and his/her Property ownership certificate.(Copies)

You better invite your landlord/property manager/friend to come along and complete the process if this is the first time for you. The police may need other information to confirm your situation.


Attention

If you move to another apartment or have your visa renewed or activate another entry by crossing the border, you need to redo the registration in time. 

To do the registration is quite important and useful. When you renew your visa, the Accommodation Registration Form is one of the necessary documents. If you don't do the registration or don't do it in time, you can get penalized according to the law.


Valid passport and visa is the precondition and guarantee for studying as an international student in China.

If this is your first time as an International student in China and you  hold an X1 or X2 visa,we will help to change your X1 or X2  visa to residence permit.

X1 or X2 visa is usually valid for one months. The residence permit is valid for multiple entries and can be extended according to your study term/the Tuition fee and Accommodation fee you have paid.

Preparation for extending residence permit

Passport

 Residence permit application form ( both applied online and printed by Room 207)

 Accommodation Registration Form (available in Room 207 in you live in-campus or the police station if you live off-campus)

 Tuition fee and Accommodation fee receipt


With all these documents needed, you can go to Exit and Entry Administration of the Public Security Bureau and submit your documents for residence permit and later take your passport back by yourself or we help you contact TRADESLINK(one agency specialized in Visa issue )and  TRADESLINK will submit your documents and take your passport back on your behalf. 

The whole process takes around two weeks.

Route: Take subway , get off at Line 2,Yong He Gong Station and go out from Exit B. Then walk east about 800 meters and you will find the bureau.

Some tips on passport and visa

Always bring the passport or a Xerox copy of it with you. The police have the right to check it and punish those who cannot to show it.

Keep the passport safe and sound. In case of loss, report to our office, your embassy and Administration of Exit and Entry of Beijing Public Security Bureau immediately and apply for a new one.

Keep in mind the validity of your passport or visa (residence permit), apply for extension one month before the visa expires.

※ According to  Law, expiration of visa (residence permit) will lead to heavy fine or deportation.

 Before you submit your documents and apply for visa (residence permit) extention, make sure you have paid the Tuition fee and Accommodation fee in advance.


Medical service

The clinic on campus (on the north side of Building A) offers medical service 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Two of the biggest hospitals in Changping district are also very close to the campus. In case of emergency, call 120 for immediate medical service.



Health Examination

For all new students, you should complete the Health Examination within 10 days after entering China.

Route: Take subway Changping Line or Line 13 to Xi Er Qi Station, then take Bus 333 Wai to Xia Lin Yuan Station and walk west 100 meters.

Tips for health examination: carry your original passport and the original health report from your home country, 

Health Examination fee: around 400RMB per person (Student price only valid if you take your Student Card and Admission Letter).

Office Hour: 8:00-11:30 am from Monday to Friday (except official public holidays). 

Document needed for health examination:

  Passport

  2 photos (3.5*5.2cm with white-colored background)

  Health report with effective results from your home country (if applicable) to skip relevant examination.

  JW201/202 Form and Admission letter

Items of heath examination: physical check-up, E.C.G, X-ray, Radiology, and taking blood,etc.

Remarks: 

1、Keep stomach empty before you go for health examination.

2、Usually You should go by yourself. We will try to arrange a bus to the Health Examination center together in September if there are enough students. 


Insurance

According to the regulations, all of the international students in China must buy personal insurance. The insurance company will cover the expenses occurred in your medical or accident treatment. You can find the details in the insurance instructions handbook.

The medical expenses of those who have concealed his psychosis, epilepsy, infectious or mental disease from the university will not be reimbursed. The university holds the right to dismiss students severely affected by one or more of these diseases.
