   Research Group Introduction

  • Our team focuses on solving various geomechanics-related issues in the oil and gas industry, including wellbore stability, lost circulation, well integrity, sand production, hydraulic fracturing, etc.

  • Our methodology combines theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, laboratory experiments, and the emerging artificial intelligence technology.

  • Students with a strong background in mathematics, rock mechanics, or artificial intelligence are encouraged to apply for the M.S. and Ph.D. positions in our team.
