Program Introduction

It focuses on the research of fuel combustion, energy transfer, conversion and utilization, and how these processes affect the environment, as well as design, operation and control of relevant equipment. The scope of research area includes fuel combustion and gasification, clean combustion and environmental pollution control, multiphase flow and its heat transfer characteristics, industrial furnace and thermal processes, energy conversion and utilization technologies, automation of thermal power equipment and systems, simulation technique and modern testing technology, development and utilization of renewable energy technologies, the operation and safety of thermal equipment and large rotary machinery, and technique economic and optimization of thermal power systems.
